Have recently been prescribed Amlodipine for high Blood pressure. Was already taking Sumatriptan treatment for migraine relief. Am currently on day 3 of Amlodipine and woke with headache that is getting increasingly worse, at this stage I would normally take a sumatriptan but do not know if it is safe to take these two medications at the same time. Was quite pleased to find this page and that amlodipine can help elliminate migraine over time. Can I take Sumatriptan while taking amlodipine ?
