Have been taking Aygestin (Norethindrone 5mg) from 1

Have been taking Aygestin (Norethindrone 5mg) from 1 - 14 days every 3 months to precipitate a period due to Estrogen (without progesterone) consumption. Currently, have cut back on Estrogen, took Aygestin as directed and now having the heaviest period and cramping. Don't know if it's because very low on estrogen or not. Could that be the case?
