Has anyone tried sam-e for depression? I have been off antidepressants for a few years now and struggle with depression as well as the struggle to find the right meds for me. It is so frustrating as you all know to keep trying meds til one works... well of course I'm feeling like I need to surrender to my depression and get back on something to help me want to get out of bed to say the least. I am 36 and have had depression since i was about 18. Ive been on paxil, prozac, celexa, and zoloft... i didnt really like any if them especially celexa, made things much worse. Ive read great things about sam-e and plan on trying it. The pills are 400mg. Anyone out there have any advice or input on sam-e?
