Had my 5th recurrent outbreak. Prodrome stage started 4, Ask an Expert

Had my 5th recurrent outbreak. Prodrome stage started 4 days ago got a refill of valtrex on 5th day of OB (within 24 hr window) started taking advised dose (500mg) twice a day for 3 days. No problems there. Today the 4th day I still show symptoms of ulcers (not that painful or itchy) should I continue taking valtrex till symptoms clear or wait and see?
