Group Assignment - Marketing mix

Choose a brand found in Australia of your interest (preferably well known). Prepare a report with respect to marketing mix (except place). Choose one concept from each of the marketing mix (except place) and discuss it in the context of that brand. Based on your exploration, provide concrete recommendation to the marketing manager for future actions.

In this assignment you are required to prepare a report on three marketing mix strategies product, price and promotion (exclude place) of a well-known brand found in Australia of your choice.

Overview:

1. Choose a brand found in Australia of your interest.

2. Examine the marketing mix (excluding place) of your selected brand.

3. Discuss the extent to which brand's marketing mix strategies are linked with theories discussed in the class.

4. In the report you are expected to provide support to your argument based on either research and/or theory discussed in the lecture.

5. The last section of the report should be about your recommendation based on your findings in relation to the brands marketing mix (excluding place).

6. The recommendation should be specific and must include rationale.

Further Guidelines:

1. Number of references needed - at least 6 journal articles or book reference.

2. Be succinct and don't waste word space in defining or describing the concept in detail. Assume that the reader knows about the concepts.

3. You must reference the articles that you have selected following Harvard Referencing Guide.?4. Follow a report format - a. Executive summary + Introduction + Observation and Research + Discussion and finally Recommendations

5. The word limit is 2000 words. If you are above the limit to some extent, about?20%, it is fine.
