Given a need to understand, explain, and interpret someone's behavior, examine the development, structure, and functioning of personality and compare and contrast the major theories, including the strengths and weaknesses inherent in each approach.

We are going to explore the many theories of personality and how they can be understood in our day to day interactions with others at work, home and play. We begin with an exploration of trait theory and how the components of this theory relate to your own experience.
