Assessment - Research Proposal

Description

This assessment tests students' knowledge and skills in relation to the application of business analysis techniques. Students demonstrate specialised knowledge of research theories, principles and methodologies to write a research proposal. Assignment 1 aims to test the knowledge and understanding of the topics covered from Weeks 1 to 5.

Assessment Criteria The following criteria will be used to assess the written assignment:

- Relevance to the question.

- Accuracy of information/argument.

- Demonstrated links to corresponding readings

- Clarity of expression

TOPICS-

Week 1 - The role of business research and the business research process

Week 2 - Problem definition: The foundation of business research

Week 3 - Questionnaire Design Measurement and scaling concepts

Week 4 - Sampling designs and procedures

Week 5 - Determination of sample size: A review of statistical theory.

Requirement: Assignment Research Proposal in outline. Need to cover the topic from week 1 to week 5
