Q. General Ford produces cars at LA also Detroit also has a warehouse in Atlanta. The organization supplies cars to consumers in Houston also Tampa. The cost of shipping a car between these points is given in the table below LA can produce up to 1200 cars also Detroit can produce up to 3800 cars. Houston must receive 2500 cars also Tampa must receive 2400 cars. Formulate a balanced transhipment problem (draw the transportation tableau) which can be used to minimize the shipping costs incurred in meeting consumers' demands. Solve the problem by utilizing QM for Windows.
