Dan Driver drove his Toyota Pickup Truck through the front door of Little Darlings Day Care Center around 10 am on February 1, 2012. He destroyed the main office and the front part of the 3 year old's classroom. The students in the room at the time were all very frightened but were not physically injured. Some even refused to ever go back to Little Darlings again. When the Day Care owner helped Driver out of his truck after the accident occurred she saw a half empty open bottle of Jack Daniels on the front seat. Driver was slurring his words & stumbling around. The police cited him for reckless driving and driving under the influence. Driver was furious that he was cited for driving under the influence, claiming he hadn't had anything to drink for over 12 hours. He blamed the Day Care's owner for his getting the citation. As a result, he took out an advertisement in the local newspaper stating: "Little Darlings Day Care Center's owner lies and cheats".
