For this assignment, you are to create an Annotated Bibliography containing five sources related to three of the following objectives:

1. Analyze the roots of modern terrorism including various terrorist groups.

2. Examine the nature and characteristics of nationalistic and ethnic separatist terrorism.

3. Summarize the historical and current roles of women in terrorism.

4. Evaluate the tactics of modern terrorism.

5. Explain the impact of the Spanish War and the Basque region. Your other two sources should relate to the research paper you are working on for Unit VIII.

American Homeland Security 3 An Annotated Bibliography is considered a summary and/or evaluation of a source. Usually, annotations perform three different functions (summarize, assess, and reflect) dependent upon your purpose.

However, for this assignment, you just need to provide a one paragraph summary of five different sources for a total of five paragraphs. Each paragraph must be a minimum of 250 words in length.
