After locating an alternate resource (e.g., a journal article, online lecture, online methods resource, textbook) that explains literature reviews in full,prepare an executive summary (three to five pages, double spaced in APA format) that explains how to prepare a literature review.

You may select an executive summary format that you locate, one that you are already familiar with, or one that you invent for your product. Write this executive summary as if you were a homeland security advisor to a political, corporate, or agency leader for whom you work. Imagine that you are persuading this leader to assign writing a literature review to a member of your team to support social science research that a member of your organization should conduct.
