Create a digital presentation of 15-20 slides to communicate to a church audience that focuses on the similarities and differences between the presentation of Jesus' teaching in Mark and in Matthew. Be sure to show how Matthew used and adapted his source in presenting to the church the teachings of Jesus. Follow these guidelines:

Compare the amount and pattern of teaching content (Jesus' teaching) between the Gospels. Read quickly through each Gospel and note the similarities and differences in amount and pattern (long discourses, shorter sayings, parables?) HINT: Use a red letter Bible.

Examine more closely several sections of Jesus teaching in each Gospel (especially sections that are found in both Gospels) to determine what changes/additions Matthew made to Mark. HINT: Compare the discourses in Mark 13 and Matthew 25-27.

Summarize your observations by addressing the differences in the way Jesus' teaching is presented in Mark's Gospel and Matthew's Gospel.
