1) In this course we inspect the theories and stages of Childhood Development as they associate to parenting. You have to prepare a paper on any stage of Childhood Development which interests you (birth to age two, 2-5 years old, elementary school, early adolescence, etc). You will require to apply theories and concepts learned in text books as well as incorporate information from 2 other sources.

The introduction must be a short summary of what you are going to prepare about. Your introduction must describe the stage of development you selected briefly and describe why you selected it.

The body of your paper must back up your introduction. Use your research to carefully describe the stage of development you selected. You should also reply these problems:

i) Why is childhood development significant to understand when it comes to parenting?

ii) describe and prepare down suitable exs of effective parenting techniques for this developmental stage.

iii) In your opinion, prepare down the most challenging behaviours of this stage? Describe how you (or any parent) can apply parenting techniques/styles from books to those challenging behaviours.

iv) What do you believe is the most significant aspect/concept and/or theory of the stage you selected and describe why?

Your conclusion must sum up your paper as well as answer: What is the most interesting thing you learned from writing this paper and describe why?

This paper will be a minimum of 3-5 pages long, not including title and reference pages. APA format required.
