Ethics Example

It is of course not just social media, it is organizations throughout the internet that offer services and products for free. If you don't pay for the product, it is said, then you are the product. Google is another fine example of this - they offer many products free of charge to the users, but in exchange they have the right to gather and sell the data on the users. The same is true of Facebook users - users permit the use of their data. This is included in the end user agreement. Facebook ethically may use end user data to market to the users. What happened with Cambridge Analytica was different in what way from this allowed usage?
