Ethical Analysis Paper

the situation that you describe in section 1 below, I want you to focus on a positive decision or action that involved ethics. The premise is that we are surrounded by positive ethical decisions every day, but since they don't result in conflict or controversy, they go by mostly unnoticed or unacknowledged. You are to develop the ethical lens through which to see both ethical lapses (analysis paper # 1) as well as ethical applications (this paper).

1. Describe a situation in your life, either experienced or witnessed, in which a decision was made or action taken that involved ethics. (Please-no real names-disguise the people and places)

2. What was the outcome of the situation?

3. In your opinion, how much did the application of right application of ethics effect the outcome?

4. What ethical principles or ethical values did this situation involve? (check your notes for principles and values)

5. What biases or barriers did the ethical application overcome that might have not been overcome if the ethical application wasn't applied?

6. How might the person's (or persons') organization (company or other entity) better incorporate or institutionalize this ethic to better systematize the ethical principle?
