Choose two of the questions below and answer. You may choose two additional questions to answer for extra credit; however you must clearly define which questions you are answering for credit and which you are answering for extra credit. 1. Explain what the 'three R's' of terrorism are. Based on the examples in your reading and those we discussed in class, provide an example of a group or attack that you believe exhibited these concepts most clearly. Explain your reasoning for why they most clearly represent this concept.

2. Why is inter-agency cooperation and reciprocity important in the fight against terrorism and for homeland security?

3. Describe how globalization has changed terrorism. Identify new challenges in combating terrorism associated with globalization and explain how these changes impact the way we address or combat terrorism-list these challenges and explain what you think law enforcement can do to address these challenges. It is ok to use your personal opinion when making your recommendation-this is your chance to take what you have learned so far and creatively apply it.

4. While both groups are radical religious terror group, there are vast differences between al-Qaeda and the Islamic State. Please describe the core differences between the two groups, and key challenges in addressing them. In your opinion*, which poses a greater threat to the US or your home country? Why do you think so?
