Essay 1:
Using the Triangular Theory of Balancing Work and Family, analyze the typical demands upon an individual in each of the three areas. Use text material as your reference as you make this analysis. The more concepts and/or examples you can bring in from the text and your experience the better your points will be.
Essay 2:
Using material from the text, recorded lecture and the video shared on Blackboard, analyze the role of work as it relates to family life. Discuss some of the various governmental programs designed to assist families with work and income related issues.
Drawing from your own experience with parents who worked outside the home (or did not), comment upon the effect that had on your family life and your development. Discuss what considerations you will be making in your future relative to work and family issues.
When responding to other students, compare and contrast your experiences and reactions. Be sure to include a reference page entry and use in-text citations to the text and video in each of your posts.
