Q. This is liability question:

Erdington operated a toy store also carried merchandise from both domestic as well as foreign manufacturers. As holiday season approached, he found that he could reduce his costs by importing a stuffed toy from a developing country. One of toys was responsible for an injury to a child also parents brought a product liability suit against Erdington. He claimed that he was unaware of defects of toy because he did not manufacture it but only sold it.

a. Do parents of injured child have right to sue Erdington instead of manufacturer?

b. Can a retailer be held liable for defective products?

c. Is re anyone else who could be named in suit?
