At the end of the day, we are beholden to the interests of management as they are supposed to have the profitability and productivity of the company at heart! On one hand, we would not want to poison our work environment, but on the other, we have this degree of ethical obligation to tell the truth, and so forth.

Which perspective that we've covered so far would give us some guidance about what to do in this situation? How would a utilitarian perspective differ from a deontological perspective in deciding whether or not to tell our coworker that we have discussed this with our supervisors?
