Elevator pitch - Walking both sides of the street

The main reason behind the downfall of sales may be due to lack of additional value such as free shipping, installment and also free return in order as well as  lack of effective promotion of their product. In order to increase the sales and to obtain maximum customer satisfaction the store must promote their product and highlight the need and importance of the product to the target consumer. Similarly they should also continuously monitor their competitors and their sales strategy.

On the other hand it is very important to have effective communication between the team member in order to maximize the sales of the store so that each and every member would be  well informed about the strategic decision to maximize sales performance.

Elevator pitch - is planning dead?

In my opinion, planning works to some extent because planning is the basic step to start any business. To achieve an organizational goal, effective planning is necessary as it helps to reduce the total time and effort to achieve its objectives. Similarly, planning also helps to tackle with the day to day problem which arise in an organization. It is  alsosaid that, planning  means half of solution of any organizational problem.It  also assist top manager to make decision in order to allocate resource in such a way that the organization can achieve its desire goal with in a certain time period.

However, an organization should do planning in such a way that it can cope with the ever changing technology and the competitive market. Thus, In today's VUCA world putting too much effort on planning is not a good option but it is also not effective decision to remove planning from an organization.
