Actions for Discussion 4 - Infant development and the role of parenting

Review the all the learning resources for the week, and respond to the following questions. You should be able to answer all of these questions using the Week 3 resources. Please remember to use your own words, and to use in-text citations for any ideas that you reference in your response.

2. Why are parents important for early infant neurological growth? What do parents do to help foster development? What happens in the absence of good parenting or in the presence of prolonged stress? (2-3 well-developed paragraphs)

3. Is technology a substitute for parenting when it comes to learning? Why or why not? (1-2 well-developed paragraphs)
