Each week there will be a written assignment. Please keep these assignments short and to the point.

Once you add your abstract and conclusion, the main body of your paper should only be about a page long (double spaced). Once your format is set, you will be good throughout the course. (Minimum of four hundred and fifty words, maximum six hundred words, APA format.)

Select a controversial marketing topic that interests you. For the topic you have chosen, report on...

1. The specific positions of each opposing side in the debate

2. The evidence each side uses to support its position(s)

3. The policy agenda, if any, each side promotes

1. Which side of the debate do you agree or disagree with most?

2. Have your views on this topic changed as a result of your research? If so how?

3. In your opinion which types of firms/industries do you think are most affected by this topic? Explain. Write up a short summary of your research findings and include any key web sites you found helpful. (Minimum of four hundred and fifty words, maximum six hundred words, APA format.)

Note: If you are over six hundred words or five pages total, you will need to edit your paper below six hundred words.
