Each student will prepare a mini paper that identify and analyze a specific ethical problem in an organization. Select an organization that you currently or recently worked in and identify one ethical problem. Note the key words specific and analyze. The problem identified should not be a huge ethical breakdown. Such a problem would be too large for this mini-paper. Instead, the problem should be something small, easily overlooked. Paper should address following:

What is the nature of the ethical breakdown (in a short paragraph describe what you have observed)?

What about it raises questions in your mind about how ethical it is?

Since these situations are often quite complex, what about the situation do you find acceptable?

How common do you see such occurrences happening in the organization?

What guidance does the organization provided regarding ethical issues (e.g., values statements, ethical principles, ethics training)?

What action would you recommend to both address the specific problem and any pattern of such problems in the organization?

Paper should be 2-3 pages in length (not including title and reference page).
