The information in your prospectus will inform the development of your proposal. How does your prospectus inform the development of Chapter 1 of your proposal?

Chapter 1 is developed from the components of Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. Explain why and how this is realized. How did you use the section criteria in Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 to inform and align your Chapter 1?

This is a very good question, after doing the prospectus draft and revising the prospectus draft and then reviewing the GCU doctoral network resources and notes, in addition to reviewing this week 5 lectures notes by Rowell (2017) GCU notes, it makes me think in honest fact, that I must go again to rework what the variables I am testing and going back to the conceptualization phase of my dissertation work. As noted by

Rowell (2017) in week 5 lecture notes, the dissertation is a original research (scientific in nature) where it is a critical and scientific examination of any relationship between the variables. What are my variables?

Emotional intelligence (independent variable or dependent variable) and the sales volume or sales performance (independent variable or dependent variable), these are key questions and conceptualization and operationalization issues that need to be addressed.

In my mind, I know what I want to study, and where the dissertation should go, in the prospectus draft, I believe I addressed these issues, but perhaps, I still need to consult in the fact that, I will need to start from the point of identifying and solidifying this first. The literature review (chapter 2) and Methodology(chapter 3) will then come together more fluidly.

Perhaps the prospectus will be more aligned in the components of chapter 2 and chapter 3 of the proposal phase. The templates certainly help and will assist in my prospectus and proposal drafts and based on any comments from the chair, this will certainly hone in on these drafts and then move forward.
