Done with my associate’s degree in engineering science and wanted to become a chemical engineer and UConn has the program that will help me succeeded in the academic goals I want to achieve goal. The reason I want to become a chemical engineer is because I have loved chemistry since high school. When I went to Manchester Community College, I took more chemistry and I found out that I loved chemistry and really could do well if I went in the field of chemistry. So the

The reason my grade point average is low because I did not try hard enough and did not do all the work I was assigned in my classes. But if I am accepted at UConn then I will try bringing up my GPA to a standard acceptable level that is approved by UConn. Another reason I have is really low GPA is because I am a procrastinator, but that is habit I have been trying to break for awhile and I have improved much to break this habit. Also by looking at my transcripts I have tried to take hard class, and I asked for a lot help in most of these class and still had difficult time with some of the class and some of them are programming and math class especially calculus I and calculus III, so that is another reason that my grade point average is down.

The reason I want transfer is because I have reached a point at my current college, which only let you only let’s you get an associate’s degree and I want an bachelors degree, so that is big reason I want to transfer from here. The experience I had at Manchester community college has been great and all my class have or will help me attain the academic goals I have set out for and the UConn will help me reaches those goals by help me getting a bachelors degree in chemical engineering.
