1) Identify an existing product. Then think of aspects of the product that you can substitute, combine, adapt, modify, put into another use, eliminate, or reverse to create a new product. Finally, make a list of all the new product ideas that you thought of.

2) Suppose you were responsible for designing the project team to develop a new detergent with bleach for Proctor & Gamble. Specify the type of project team that you would create to develop this product. State whether you would set up a functional or cross-functional team and explain the logic behind your recommendation. If you recommend the creation of a cross-functional team, state whether you believe the team should be a lightweight, heavyweight, or autonomous team. Explain the logic behind this recommendation as well.
