Discussion: Security policies and social networking sites

Social networking is an incredibly common way for friends and family to communicate with one another. Facebook, Twitter, and other services deliver personal content in an easy to use, exciting format, but from the perspective of a business these tools can be questionable or harmful. What policies do you think a professional organization such as a hospital should have regarding the use of social networking sites by employees? How often should the compliance department audit for compliance with these policies and why?
