In a budget environment where funds are tight or unavailable, it is a challenge to recruit and retain health care professionals such as physicians, and nurses, as well as highly qualified administrative staff.

• Provide two suggestions to management and the board of directors of a health care organization as to how you can recruit and retain high quality staff when the current budget does not permit the expenditure of additional funds.
