CHAPTER 13: The last discussion is about how we influence and are influenced by others.

Pick a concept from Social Psychology (you can refer to the Ch 13 Review Document for ideas), explain the concept and how you have seen it in action in your own experience.

It can be a situation you observed or one that you experienced yourself.

To receive full credit (50 points), your posting should be a minimum of 150 words - AND - you need to respond to at least one other student's posting. Remember to be courteous and respectful in your response!

Chapter 13: Social Psychology

Critical Thinking is an important skill to have. Even though we are often aware of situations where critical thinking is not being used, it may still be difficult to define. As part of the curriculum, students must study the concept of critical thinking and apply their understanding of it in an exercise.

For this assignment, you will read and study the article by Stanley Milgram entitled, "Behavioral Study of Obedience."

Once you have familiarized yourself with the article, you will use the "Template for Analyzing the Logic of an Article," on page 11 of The Miniature Guide to Critical Thinking (by Dr. Richard Paul and Dr. LindaElder) to write an analysis of the article. This paper will be a minimum of 500 words, submitted in a Word Document.
