Choose one culture that has been discussed in the lesson or that has been covered in the readings. Write a response to the following question: How does the culture of the people influence their architecture? What does the architecture tell you about the culture? (The material used, the size, the intended function, did they decorate it, etc,).

Topic:

From your perspective has the acceptance of marijuana brought on the pressure to legalize more drugs in this country. Your text discusses the media and its responsibility relating to the increase of drug use. This is seen on television, music and the movies. How has this source played a role in the drug problem in the United States? MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 1 ½ PAGES.

Topic:

Opioids are on the rise in this country. Some people are using them for pain that has been properly prescribed by a physician. Some get hooked on this drug and will try to get it anywhere they can. For example: kids will take their parents pills, others might harm their dog or cat or other animals to get it, some will buy them off the street. Here in Arizona, if a baby is born to a mother who is hooked on Opioids and this shows up in the baby, the hospital is required to report this to the authorities. It is very difficult to see a baby go through withdrawals and can have possible repercussions on the child later down the road. Should the parent be arrested for using Opioids during pregnancy? Should the parent loose custody of the baby? What solution would you recommend?
