DISCUSSION BOARD 2

Using your textbook, define consciousness, waking consciousness, and altered states of consciousness. 

Compare and contrast the similarities and differences of legal drugs, particularly caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine to illegal/prescription drugs such as amphetamines, narcotic pain killers, marijuana, and Xanax. After discussing the similarities and differences decide if the legal drugs should be made illegal and if the illegal drugs should be made legal. Make sure to give sound reasons for your decisions.
