Discussion: Artwork Style
Make a post on one style of art that appeals to you. You can find your style by researching images and viewing the slide show - "What is Style?" Look at the Bookmarks for the websites that list different styles. Identify the style with descriptions of its' characteristics. Include explanations of your chosen style's subject matter, use of media and techniques, imagery, theme concept, and the use of art elements and principles. Include the name of an artist and time in history when this style was introduced or popular. This topic is about one style not a particular artist or artwork. Add a visual image of an artwork in your chosen style. Identify the artist's name and the name of the artwork.
