Discussion : Social Change
Post the following to the Social Change Discussion Board.
• A link to something describing a social change effort (if relevant, a link to the official website)
• A paragraph summarizing the effort, including:
o The goal (What specific social change is being sought? What problem is being addressed?)
o The strategies for achieving the goal
o Who is involved?
• A paragraph with your thoughts about the potential effectiveness of the effort
By Thursday respond to at least two of your classmates' posts in at least one of the following ways:
• Note something that you find positive about this approach to social change
• Note something that you find problematic about this approach to social change (the goal or the strategies)
• Explain why you agree or disagree with your peer's assessment of the group's potential effectiveness
