Discuss, investigate, and research the following with your teammates:

1. The current health care system is a mess and the recent rollout of ObamaCare highlights the difficulties for any solution. This week, your team is asked to compare two alternative healthcare systems: Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSA's) and a government-run single-payer system. John Mackey's Whole Foods Market uses the HSA's combined with high deductible catastrophic coverage (see Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business, pages 95-98). On the other hand, Canada and many European countries use variations of the single-payer system.

2. In a Microsoft Word document, prepare a four to five page executive summary. In your summary, the most important aspect is to demonstrate the learning that took place during the week. Additionally, please be sure to include an analysis of the incentives that are created by each system; an application of rational behavior for individuals and for groups; an explanation of the rationing mechanism under the two systems; and the feasibility of the system in the long-run.
