• Finding and using the Critical Path in network diagrams in Operations.
• Reducing the project completion time (crashing) in Operations.
• Application of the Gantt Chart in Operations projects.
• The Project life cycle in Operations projects.

Notice that all of these topics refer to projects in the Operations function of a business, to manufacture a product or create a service.  We all know that project management is used in all of the business functions, such as in marketing research or financial planning, but for the discussion in this unit please focus on Operations examples and articles.
