1. You are the human resources manager for a company called Mighty Tech Solutions, which provides support and repair services for computer related problems. You are in the process of creating a worksheet for the weekly employee payroll data. Once you have completed the worksheet, you will need to format it to give it a professional look. Open a new workbook and save it as Mighty Tech Solutions.xlsx in the drive and folder where your Data Files are stored.

• Enter the data shown in the table above in the workbook.

• Enter the formulas to calculate the pay for each employee.

• Add the worksheet title "Payroll Data" in row 1. Merge and center the title over the column labels.

• Change the font and font size of the worksheet title, as appropriate, to emphasize it.

• Make the column labels bold.

• Format the Pay column so that the values appear with dollar signs, but without decimal places.

• Make sure all columns are wide enough to display all the data and labels.

• Enter your name in a cell in the worksheet, save your work, and then preview the worksheet.

• Save the file as part of the zipped folder to be uploaded to iBoard.

2. You are the store manager of a sporting goods store called Endless Fitness. You have created a worksheet to keep track of the inventory. Before showing the worksheet to the owner of the store, you want to format it to make it more attractive and efficient. Use the table below as a basis for your new worksheet.

• Enter the data shown in the table above in a new workbook saved as Endless Fitness.xlsx where your Data Files are stored.

• Add the worksheet title "Endless Fitness Inventory." Merge and center the title over the column labels.

• Change the font and font size of the worksheet title, as appropriate, to emphasize it. Add a fill color to the worksheet title.

• Format the Retail Price column so that it displays the Accounting Number Format with two decimal places.

• Make the column labels bold and underlined, and center-align them.

• Make sure all columns are wide enough to display all the data and labels.

• Apply conditional formatting so that any On-Hand value that is less than 15 appears in bold, with the font color red, and a yellow fill color.

• Check the spelling in the worksheet.

• Save the file as part of the zipped folder to be uploaded to iBoard.

PART II: Essay

Directions: Write an essay that summarizes what you have learned in this section of your textbook and lecture notes. Your paper should be at least 2 pages in length, utilize APA style, and include a cover page and a bibliography. Your paper should be written in your own words and not copied and pasted from the Internet or directly from the textbook and/or lecture notes. Your summary must include all of the following topics:
