Developing an Annotated Bibliography

Select a business topic that interests you. Prepare a bibliography of at least five current magazine or newspapers articles, three books and five online references that contain relevant information regarding the topic. In your SUBJECT indicated what your topic will be for all 13 sources.

Divide your bibliography into Periodicals (Magazines and Newspaper), Books, and On-line sites. Below each reference give a brief description of each reference. There is a sample Annotated Bibliography that has been placed in Blackboard under Chapter 10. I would strongly suggest before starting this activity that you review this document. Remember, separate your sites into Periodicals – you must have five; Books – three books; and five On-Line sites. (Don’t forget to give the web address).   Insert your Annotated Bibliography on the next two pages. Students are also asked to give a brief description of each reference. See below for example.

Dumaine discusses investing in clean energy and recommends several specific solar, wind, and other “green” stocks for investors to buy. He believes that the world will continue to evolve toward a low-carbon, sustainable economy; hence, companies that specialize in energy-efficient technologies should see good long-term growth.
