Developing a Job Description Select a health care profession or occupation and write a job description for it. It will be most helpful to use an occupation in which you have worked or for which you are preparing, subject to one condition: Since you will logically refer to the job description exhibits in the chapter to guide you (Exhibits 6–3 through 6–7), be sure to use an occupation other than those represented by the samples. Following completion of the job description, prepare a condensed description of that job in less than one-half page that could be used for recruiting purposes.
