Using genealogy or family tree software of your choice (see http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-genealogy-family-tree-software.htm for free online software), develop a family tree.

This may be your own or for someone else.

- Use the "Standards for Sound Genealogical Research" http://www.ngsgenealogy.org/cs/ngs_standards_and_guidelines

- One of the lines should go back at least 5 generations.

- Include examples of primary source documents (copies of census records, birth certificate, marriage license, military record, etc.) as appendices or in a separate document. An example for each name entry is ideal but not always possible so include what you can.
