Develop 2 PowerPoint presentation with ten to fifteen slides each. All slides are to meet APA standards as follows:

There will be an introduction slide The identified companies mission and vision will be cited on one of the PowerPoints. There will be eight to ten slides of content followed by a recommendation slide(s) and a reference slide.

1. The first PowerPoint will describe Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and practical ways that an identified company has an opportunity to be more socially responsible through: logistics, distribution, and transportation (cover all three of these at least you may add more). The company you choose must have options to become more socially responsible using at least logistics, distribution and transportation (so you are probably going to be choosing a company that offers a product rather than a service). This PowerPoint is to be of a quality that you would take to your boss to ask for her/his consideration. In the recommendation slide(s) use data support several options that could be used to make a company to be considered more socially responsible. You are to choose a particular company that currently does not have a CSR policy (so if you go to a company Website and they have a sustainability or CSR policy on the website you cannot use that company). The company that you choose must be cited in the PowerPoint and their mission and vision must connect to the mission and vision.

Prepare a PowerPoint presentation that addresses the following:

Logistics: What are the key options for transportation and logistics? What has been a recent development in logistics or transportation that might apply to the identified company (cite).

Distribution: What are the options for distribution for this company to be more socially responsible? What are the newest and most socially responsible innovations in distribution (cite) and how could they be applied to your identified business?

Transportation:What are the significant options for transportation for this company to be more socially responsible? What are the newest and most cost effective ways to transport the product (be sure that the transportation recommendation meets the needs of the mission and vision of the identified company).

2.The second PowerPoint will describe MRP (Material Resource Planning) and practical ways that an identified company has an opportunity to be more efficient using what you have learned in the textbook and independent research on MRP. You may use the same company as Team Assignment 1 and yet the company you choose must have options to improve their current MRP processes (so you are probably going to be choosing a company that offers a product rather than a service). This PowerPoint is to be of a quality that you would take to your boss to ask for her/his consideration. In the recommendation slide(s) use data support several options that could be used to make a company to be considered more effective through MRP. The company that you choose must be cited in the PowerPoint and their mission and vision must connect to the recommendations.
