Details:

Use your field experience hours for selection of students with your classroom teacher.

With the classroom teacher, select two girls and two boys to take the "Physical Ability Assessment." Secure parental permission if necessary. The students should be born within one year of each other.

Complete the ''Physical Ability Assessment." Comment on how each child approached the tasks_ The descriptions should be explicit. In 500-750 words, summarize the following for each child:

1. Description, do not use name;

2. Physical developmental milestones; and

3. Appropriate wellness activities, based on the assessment.

Use 3-5 scholarly resources.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the GCU Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

Document the hours and locations that you spend in the field on your Clinical Field Experience Verification Form.

Submit the Clinical Field Experience Verification Form with the last assignment by the assignment due date. Directions for submitting can be found on the College of Education site in the Student Success Center.Walk 10 feet.

Walk a straight line. (Put masking tape on the floor and have the child walk on the tape.)

Walk backward for 10 feet.

Lie on the floor and roll like a log (note the direction).
