There are some options one has to describe the problem of evil. One that we won't look at too much now is the claim that evil is simply an illusion. The followers of Christian Science would tend to believe this. Bad and evil are illusions only good and truth is real. The other group that would have to agree which evil doesn't exist is the people which claim that there are no absolute standards. If there is no absolute standard (whether that standard is God, the government, society or some other standard) then one has no basis on claiming which one action is good while the other is evil.
