9. Summarise the key points in the code of conduct for Trainers and assessors outlined in the TAE training package.
10. Discuss three ethical issues that you as a trainer / assessor may encounter.
11. Define Education about sustainability and education for sustainability. Outline why you need to consider sustainability when designing learning programs.
TASKS 2 and 3
Design TWO learning programs
• You may use or modify the attached template
• Clearly identify:
o Segments and timeframes
o Delivery strategies, assessment methods and tools
o Organisational requirements
• Document key stakeholder review process
• Attach completed hazard identification and risk control plan documents
For each learning program, write a short report:
• Describe the organization for which the program is being designed. Explain why this training needs to be conducted. Prepare an outline to set the scene.
• Describe purpose and type of learning program
• Outline the consultation process for involving key stakeholders
• Identify the competency standards/benchmarks on which the program is based
• Outline language, literacy and numeracy requirements of the program
• Describe the characteristics of the target learner group
• Explain how the program complies with organisational quality and assurance policies
• Outline the learning program design options
• Describe research process and methodology to document specific subject matter
• Evaluate existing learning resources for content relevance and quality
• Specify the assessment requirements of learning program
