Q. Retailers are starting to experiment with corporate blogs open to the public. While blogs are not new, letting employees write them and say illustrate whatever they want to (about the retailer, manufacturers, stores, society, etc.) is a new and nervous thing for retailers. For example, Wal-Mart has a blog where several buyers write about new products, ideas and so on related to their merchandise categories. Sometimes they make positive statements, other times they criticize things and sometime they pose questions for customer.
