DB 1:

Choose a passage from the Bible that provides instruction about seeking advice/counsel from a person other than God or a relative. Choose another scripture that provides an example of a person doing this. In one paragraph, explain each of the scriptures. In another paragraph, specifically show their relationship to the financial planning process and/or seeking advice from a financial planner

DB 2:

The textbook briefly discusses term life insurance and permanent life insurance. Find and use information from other sources to compare and contrast universal life, variable life, and variable-universal life insurance. Find at least 2 journal articles on the topic of insurance (i.e., risk management, life, health, disability, etc.), and in a separate paragraph, summarize the main findings from the articles.

DB 3:

In a paragraph, compare and contrast defined benefit retirement plans and defined contribution retirement plans using outside sources. Provide at least 2 examples of each type of plan. In another paragraph, summarize findings from at least 2 retirement studies from journals.

DB 4:

Choose one of the following topics: estate planning, taxes, or retirement. Find at least 1 scripture that applies to the topic chosen. In one paragraph, explain the scripture and how it specifically relates to the topic. Find at least 2 journal articles on your topic, and in another paragraph, summarize the main findings from the articles.
