Analyze the differing cultural perspectives on policing, the courts, and corrections in two of the following countries:
- China
- England
- France
- Japan
- North Korea
- South Korea
- Saudi Arabia
- United States
How have the cultural perspectives of each country had an impact on their legal traditions? Does there appear to be a direct correlation between the cultural beliefs and the legal traditions in each country? How do the cultures of these countries impact policing, courts, and corrections?
Your initial post should be at least 400 words in length. Support your claims with examples from the required material(s) and/or other scholarly resources, and properly cite any references.
Guided Response: Review your colleagues' posts, and substantively respond to at least two of your peers. Did your colleague examine the cultural perspectives and legal traditions of at least two of the listed countries? Were all of the questions answered? If not, be sure to ask for the missing answers so that the questions can be answered in the response. Do you have any follow-up questions as a result of the post?
