Create the cover letter using the following instructions:

1. Start Word, create a new blank document, and then save the document.

2. Using the Block style, include your address in the heading area(just type my address and i'll insert it later). Use April 15, 2016 as the date. Locate the address of the Chamber of Commerce in your local community(please use-1011 Camino Del Mar, Ste 256, Del Mar, CA 92014) . Use this address as the inside address on the letter. Include an appropriate salutation.

3.You will write the content of the letter, but keep in mind you are providing a general description of your event. Be sure to include the following information: -Ad title -Contact person (use your first and last name) -Contact person's email -Contact person's phone number -Contact person's address (street address, city, state, ZIP) -Description of your sale (dates of participation, times, and location) -List of types of items for sale in a standard bulleted list. Spellcheck and proofread the document.

In this project, you will create a letter of participation in the Annual Community Garage Sale within your city and a flyer that will advertise items to be included in your sale. Participants may host garage sales at any time throughout the weekend of May 2-4, 2014. The letter will include specific information to be used in the ad for your garage sale. Select a block-style letter, making sure to include relevant components, such as the address and salutation. Although the content is up to you, be sure to include at least two body paragraphs informing the Chamber of Commerce in your city of your intent to participate and specific details of information you want included in your ad. The flyers will be displayed on bulletin boards in local businesses around your community in the weeks leading up to the weekend community sale to promote enthusiasm about your sale. The flyer should include the necessary details as to the date, time, and location of the event, including a general list of the types of items for sale. Design your one-page flyer in an eye-catching and informative manner to be sure bargain shoppers looking for deals, steals, and fun stop at your location! Do not forget to incorporate the blue event color scheme in your flyer design, as participants have been asked to identify their sale with signage and blue balloons or ribbons.
