Identify an industry that you are familiar with in a country you are familiar with.

Critically analyse your industry of choice in order to identify the Key Drivers of Change in the macro environmental surrounding your chosen industry. Analyse how the macro environment factors under discussion are affecting the industry's micro-environment and the consequent competitive landscape of the industry you are discussing.

Having analysed the macro and micro environments, build up scenarios of how organisations in the industry might respond strategically to the identified factors in order to position themselves competitively. Base this exercise on an organisation you are familiar with or, where this is not possible, on a hypothetical organisation.

NOTE:

1. The word count for this coursework is 3000 words +/- 10%

1. Introduction: (words not more than 450)
1.1 Write here about the industry you're focusing and its brief description (not more than 4 to 5 sentences) like located, turnover, company main activities etc... (Mention or not your company's name - your preference).
1.2 Here start with the sentence this report further focus on ....... "whatever you have covered in your report just give a short synopsis" ( A brief background of your report).

2. Analysis: (words not more than 1650) { which includes the overall LR 750 words and the analysis 900 words}
- (Have to read more related books or articles from online, especially related to the macro & micro environmental factors in Oman & all over the world. Its recommended to read from gcu library but if not available then go with goggle but shouldn't be fake like Wikipedia...)
- On below each part you have to write the analysis with the help of literature reviews and mention the authors in paragraph and refer it in the end on the Harvard style. To be clear just follow step by step
2.1 Mention first your company's macro environmental factors (i.e.) find the key drivers and which affects in the macro environment. There might be too many factors.
2.2 Now choose any one or two key drivers and analyse how these driver affects in the micro-environment of the company and the consequent competitive landscape. (i.e. for example your key driver is political factor the legal laws keeps on changing and which affects the company's policy, financial condition, the employee status and etc..(micro environment) and as a result what is status of your company in market is it capable to withstand in the competitive market or lose or struggling or managing or achieving successes. (here bring the LR related to your key driving factor which will be meaningful and must match with your context (Oman).

3. Recommendations & Conclusions: (words total not more than 900)
- (Now from the above analysis have to find for key lessons and also other general recommendations for the industry to come out from the current situation. Kindly refer authors in appropriate places if required).

3.1 Here you need to build up the new scenarios for your company to come out from the current situation if its bad otherwise you can mention that present scenario. i.e. give recommendations to your company if what could have they follow so that they can be perfect and good at the market place. Ex:- if often the company's macroµ environment get affected from political factor what the company can do??? Give your solution and also can suggest from LR by saying that as (Lowe, 2000) describes the company can follow .......... that to overcome the political factor. (words not more than 450)

3.2 Now can generally recommend the other points for your company in Oman or ...(the context you chosen on beginning).
