Country Analysis Paper
A Country Analysis term paper is required for which you will choose a country and write a 15-20 page research paper (use APA style citation methods) analyzing this country from a cultural and business standpoint. This page limit includes a (maximum) two-page Executive Summary of the findings placed at the beginning of the paper, but does not include any Appendices.

Choose the country on which you will write your paper and submit it in Week 2.

First Draft
In the first draft you need to cover the following topics:

History (things that continue to impact the country today)
Current Events
Geography (Location, Climate, Topography, etc.)
Family (Living Arrangements, Gender Roles, Parental Roles, etc.)
Education (Requirements, Averages, Who Pays, Enrollment Rates, Literacy Rates, etc.)
Politics (Government Structure, Political Parties, Stability, Level of Corruption-Transparency)
Second Draft
In the second draft you will need to add the following topics (and revise the previous topics as needed):

Macroeconomics (Methods of Taxation, Fiscal Policy/Spending, Inflation Rates, exchange rates and purchasing power parity, Regulations, membership in international organizations, Real GDP per capita, income distribution, Unemployment Rates, Factor endowments, etc.)
Legal System (traditional source for the laws, organization of judiciary, recognition of intellectual property rights, corruption levels, efficiency, enforcement, independence of court systems, etc.)
Sociology (group behaviors, social classes, races, ethnicities, etc.)
Final Version
In the final version of your paper, add the following topics (and revise the previous topics as needed):

Business customs and practices
Religion
Living Conditions (Health Care: infant mortality rates, birth rates, sex ratios at birth; life expectancy, Housing; care for the aged; Population below poverty line and how that's defined, etc.)
Language
Also include a (maximum) two page Executive Summary of the findings placed at the beginning of the paper. Do not include any Appendices. Include a Title page and all the topics assigned in the first two drafts so that your final paper includes all of the following:
