Corporations have various "publics," stakeholder groups whose opinions they may have to influence. These include the media, employees, other corporate entities, communities, governments, investors, and consumers.

Who are the members of these various publics and why do corporations want to influence them?

Be specific and describe the membership of each public (i.e. "The media has a membership comprised of both specialized and mass media channels, and each of those channels have memberships of their own" is specific, whereas "the media has a membership of thousands of people" is not.) Then explain how and why the membership is an important group to corporations.
